Overview:

We are looking for Senior Android Developer with 6+ years of experience building scalable, high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack libraries, and modern architectures. Skilled in delivering optimized, user-focused solutions aligned with Android best practices and Google Play standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing, building, and maintaining advanced Android applications using Kotlin and frameworks like Jetpack Compose, Android Views, and Kotlin Coroutines/Flow.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA) to define, develop, and ship new features.
3. Optimizing app performance, memory usage, battery efficiency, and ensuring smooth user experience (UX).
4. Integrating with backend services, APIs, and cloud messaging (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging).
5. Conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best practices in mobile development.
6. Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex issues; fixing bugs and improving existing codebase.
7. Ensuring apps adhere to Google’s Material Design guidelines, Android design principles, and Google Play Store requirements.
8. Staying current with Android ecosystem updates, tools (e.g., Android Studio), and emerging trends like AI integration or new frameworks.
9. Participating in agile processes.

Requirements:

1. 6+ years of professional Android development experience, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality apps to the Google Play Store.
2. Expert proficiency in Kotlin.
3. Deep experience with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries (Room, Navigation, WorkManager, Lifecycle), and other key frameworks.
4. Familiarity with modern tools: Git for version control, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise), and performance tuning (Android Profiler, LeakCanary).
5. Understanding of RESTful APIs, networking (Retrofit, OkHttp), concurrency (Coroutines, Flow), and offline storage (Room, DataStore).
6. Knowledge of design patterns, architecture (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI).
7. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities; experience mentoring or leading teams.
8. Experience with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow (reactive programming), and security best practices (ProGuard/R8, encryption, secure storage).
